Roger Lorin

This gifted painter, a pioneer, scholar, charismatic figure, educator, and discerning music lover, restored the Priory of Chirens to dedicate it to the arts. The exhibition pays tribute to the artist by presenting major works imbued with spirituality.

  • From May 31st to July 26th: Sundays from 3pm to 6pm

Heritage Days

September 19th and 20th: 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm.

Entry fee

  • Full price: €5

  • Reduced price: €3 (for students under 26, job seekers and disabled people).

  • Free: children up to 12 years old

    By car

    • By A48 motorway: Exit n°10 Champfeuillet.
    • Follow signs for Voiron at the first roundabout
    • Then follow the signs for Bourg-en-Bresse at the second
    • Then continue straight ahead until you reach the entrance to Chirens.
    • In Chirens, drive to the roundabout and take the 2nd exit towards Charavines. Then take the 1st left opposite the college or park in the Esplanade Roger Lorin car park on concert days.


    By train

    • TER Lyon-Grenoble – stop at Voiron station. Then taxi or bus.


    By plane

    • Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport (1 hour by car).
