Chirens Priory
The Priory of Chirens, an 11th-century Romanesque church located in Isère, presents chamber music concerts in an exceptional setting, as well as visual art exhibitions. Adorned with 17th-century frescoes by François Chambon, listed as a historical monument, and restored by the artist Roger Lorin in 1964, this church is open to visitors. 2027 SEASON MEMBERSHIP
Since 1964, the Priory of Chirens has hosted musicians and visual artists every summer. By joining the association, you support the organization of these events.

Coming to the Priory
Carpooling

By car
- By A48 motorway: Exit n°10 Champfeuillet.
- Follow signs for Voiron at the first roundabout
- Then follow the signs for Bourg-en-Bresse at the second
- Then continue straight ahead until you reach the entrance to Chirens.
- In Chirens, drive to the roundabout and take the 2nd exit towards Charavines. Then take the 1st left opposite the college or park in the Esplanade Roger Lorin car park on concert days.
By train
- TER Lyon-Grenoble – stop at Voiron station. Then taxi or bus.
By plane
- Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport (1 hour by car).
